Uveitis

Uveitis is eye inflammation affecting the iris and other parts of the uvea. Symptoms include eye redness and pain, blurry vision, light sensitivity and floating spots on the eyes. If untreated, uveitis can cause permanent damage to the eyes. In most cases, eye drops are prescribed to treat uveitis, although in more severe cases oral medications or injections may be prescribed as well.
