Rehab receives highest level of accreditation

The Rehabilitation Unit at The University of Kansas Health System has once again received three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The accreditation applies to the unit's comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation and brain injury programs. It represents the highest level of accreditation awarded by CARF.

The program has received consecutive three-year accreditations from CARF since 1986. CARF is an international, independent, not-for-profit accrediting body promoting quality, value and optimal outcomes through a consultative accreditation process.
