Leigh Wagner is one half (along with Randy Evans) of the nutrition team at Integrative Medicine. She has been with Integrative Medicine since 2009, when she was working on her master’s degree. Leigh recently received her PhD in Medical Nutrition Science from The University of Kansas Dietetics and Nutrition Department. Her research project focused on integrative therapies for irritable bowel syndrome. Leigh enjoys working with patients with chronic health conditions that have not been resolved by conventional medical care. She sees patients with digestive problems, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular disease and inflammation-based problems.

In her clinical nutrition practice, Leigh listens to patients to hear what they need. She personalizes each patient’s nutritional plan, because every single patient has different nutritional needs. She uses tools such as body composition testing, laboratory testing, and the nutrition physical exam to help identify and fix nutrition-based health problems.

In her free time, Leigh loves to listen to podcasts, read, walk and spend time with her husband, Rob, and their rescue pup, Jake Reno.

Leigh works with people with a variety of goals and diseases:
  • Food Sensitivities
  • Diabetes and Pre-diabetes
  • Thyroid Disease
  • IBS
  • Weight Loss and Management
  • Nutrient Deficiencies
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Cancer Survivorship
  • Any Chronic Diseases
A product of a family with a love for cooking, Leigh also enjoys teaching cooking classes to multiple audiences:
