While most patients can keep their apnea under control through lifestyle modifications, including use of a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine, there are those who need something more. That's where the Inspire device comes in. This new device monitors a patient's breathing while they are asleep and opens the airway through a small nerve stimulator device.
