If I am already at The University of Kansas Hospital, is there someone I may talk to in person?

Yes. You may speak with a representative between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at the hospital.

What if I cannot pay my bill in full?

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards including Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover® and American Express® four ways:

  • Make a credit card payment through MyChart.
  • Make a payment through our online portal
  • Make a credit card payment  by phone at 913-588-5820, or toll-free at 877-287-6268.
  • Make your credit card payment by mail – return the remittance form on the reverse side of your statement with your credit card information completed.

How long does it usually take for my insurance company to pay my outstanding charges?

The insurance process often takes 30 to 45 days.
