Spine Pain

Pain affects everyone differently. Our specialists assess and diagnose spine and joint pain, then work to educate patients on the treatment options available to them.

Spinal Cord Injury

Our Spinal Cord Injury program provides an entire range of care for individuals with spinal cord injury. Our specialists focus on improving both function and quality of life for individuals who have experienced traumatic or non-traumatic spinal cord injuries; as well as spinal cord injury disease, including adults with spina bifida and multiple sclerosis.

We treat both acute and chronic spinal cord injuries, and help manage such aspects of injury/disease as:
  • Neurogenic bladder
  • Neurogenic bowel
  • Neurogenic skin
  • Neuropathic pain
  • Spasticity
  • Respiratory issues
  • Depression
  • Sexuality/reproduction
  • Autonomic dysreflexia

When necessary for your care, we will also involve such specialists as urologists, pulmonologists, plastic and spine surgeons, and wound care nurses. The entire team of specialists will care for you throughout your hospital stay; then during rehabilitation as well as through continued follow-up at one of our Spine Center locations.
