Personal Statement

Dr. Duchene has special interest in the urologic application of minimally-invasive surgical techniques to urologic tumors, adrenal disorders, renal reconstruction and kidney stones. He believes in providing effective treatment while decreasing recovery time and pain with the use of minimally-invasive techniques. This includes using the DaVinci Robotic platform to perform Robotic Prostatectomy for prostate cancer, Partial Nephrectomy for kidney cancer and Robotic Pyeloplasty for ureteropelvic junction obstruction. He also offers laparoscopic ablation therapy for kidney lesions and endoscopic procedures for kidney stones.
