Poison Prevention Education Materials and Resources

The Kansas Poison Center has a variety of free educational materials available for Kansas residents to order (if you do not reside or work in Kansas, contact your local poison center.) If you have questions or would like more information, please contact: poisoncenter@KUMC.edu.

Educational Brochure:

A general brochure that includes information on potential poisons, what to do if you suspect a poisoning, first-aid, and poison prevention tips.

Poison Help Magnifier:

A magnifier card with the Poison Help logo and phone number, 1-800-222-1222. This magnifier can be used to help read the fine print on medicine labels, personal care products, household cleaners, etc. This magnifier can easily be stored in your wallet.

Children’s Activity Book (General Poison Prevention):

This activity book teaches kids in a fun and engaging way how to be poison safe.
