About Me

Dr. Aires is committed to the highest quality medical and procedural care for patients with skin conditions, as well as other issues pertaining to skin, hair, and nails. Specific areas of interest include aging, skin cancer, and autoimmune disease, as well as aesthetic dermatology. Dr. Aires has published peer-reviewed articles on skin cancer, and has lectured nationally on skin cancer and autoimmune disease. A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, Dr Aires trained in Dermatology at University of Texas Southwestern and Harvard, and was an Instructor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School prior to joining the division of Dermatology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He is board certified in Dermatology. He is an active member of various dermatologic societies, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Society for Investigative Dermatology, on whose board he has served. Dr Aires is a former President of the Kansas dermatological Society. He is committed to providing excellent care for people with skin conditions and aesthetic skin concerns.
