About Me

I am a board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine and primary care specialist at The University of Kansas Health System.

As a former football player who played 9 years in the NFL, I fully understand how injuries affect athletes and how important it is for active people to return to their sports as safely and quickly as possible.

By combining both sports medicine and primary care, I provide the full spectrum of care for patients of all ages. I particularly enjoy helping active people continue to practice their sports or activities at a competitive or recreational level, and I believe my training allows me to see the whole person instead of focusing only on the injury. This results in more practical and effective treatments.

After completing my medical training at the University of Kansas Medical School, I chose to continue my career with The University of Kansas Health System because it is the premier facility for sports medicine in the region. I enjoy being a part of a team of highly qualified physicians who excel at coordinating interdisciplinary care for athletes of all ages and skill levels.
