Nonsurgical Med Spa

In addition to the many surgical procedures we provide, our team can provide several nonsurgical cosmetic treatments. These procedures are minimally invasive and most require very little downtime. View the links below for more information on these treatments.

Areola tattoos

For women who have had a mastectomy or breast reconstruction, 3D areola tattooing provides a more natural-looking nipple with less recovery time than traditional nipple reconstruction surgery.

Botox® cosmetic

Botox is the brand name for purified botulinum toxin, a neurotoxin that is used in plastic surgery to reduce wrinkles caused by aging and weathering, as well as facial spasms and other abnormal muscle contractions typical in neurological disorders.

Chemical peel

Chemical peels are used to improve the skin’s appearance by removing the damaged outer skin layers. Beneath your old layers of skin are new layers with fewer wrinkles and a warmer glow. During treatment a chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes the skin to separate and peel off, revealing the underlying, undamaged layers of skin and stimulating the healing process, which produces collagen.

Eyebrow enhancement

Whether you have thinning eyebrows or are simply tired of drawing them in, eyebrow enhancement – a form of eyebrow tattooing – offers the perfect remedy.

Injectable fillers

Wrinkle fillers made with substances like hyaluronic acid and other materials can help fill in lines and creases, temporarily restoring a smoother, more youthful-looking appearance. When injected beneath the skin, these fillers plump up creased and sunken areas of the face. Wrinkle filler injections are quick and, usually, surprisingly comfortable.

Laser skin resurfacing

Laser resurfacing is an increasingly popular skin rejuvenation procedure that works to improve the appearance of facial skin by resurfacing wrinkles, fine lines and minor scars. Like other skin resurfacing techniques, laser skin resurfacing encourages the growth of new, vibrant skin by removing the outermost layers.

Permanent makeup

Permanent makeup is an advanced cosmetic technique in which the skin is tattooed in a way that gives the appearance of makeup. The procedure was designed to assist individuals who have trouble applying, or who are allergic to, conventional makeup. Also known as micropigmentation, permanent makeup can mask scars, camouflage skin discoloration and restore the areola after breast surgery, among other applications.

Pigment Balancing Peel

The Pigment Balancing Peel targets hyperpigmentation, improves photodamaged skin, melasma and acne-related discoloration.

Sclerotherapy is a common procedure that treats spider veins and varicose veins. During treatment a liquid chemical called a sclerosing solution is injected into the vein causing the vein walls to seal shut. After time, the vein breaks down, turns to scar tissue and then disappears.

Skin care

A quality skin care regimen enhances your skin’s appearance by treating signs of aging, environmental effects and acne scarring. Our plastic surgery team designs a personalized plan using the advanced skincare line by SkinCeuticals® for both in-office with pharmaceutical-grade products, and at home with revolutionary antioxidant formulas.

Skin management

Whether you're planning a surgical or nonsurgical skin treatment, it's important that you find a doctor who has training and experience with a variety of skin-management techniques. You'll want a doctor who can give you the best possible single treatment or treatment combination.
