Convenient locations

Our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine facilities are conveniently located. We're on the west side of The University of Kansas Physicians Medical Office Building at Olathe Boulevard and Cambridge Street. Our doctors and physical therapists help patients transition from physical therapy treatment to a gym-based exercise program. The Center for Sports Medicine – Indian Creek Campus is located off 107th Street near the intersection of Nall Avenue and W. 107th Street Street in Overland Park, Kansas. We also provide orthopedics specialty care at KU MedWest in Shawnee, Kansas.

Our doctors provide care for high school, college and professional athletes and sports organizations. These include the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Kansas Speedway, and Sprint Center events like Big 12, NCAA, NBA and NHL.

The University of Kansas Hospital is proud to be the official healthcare provider of the Kansas City Chiefs. We provide leading-edge care and treatment for players during training, practice and games. We also provide first aid care for fans at every home game. The partnership between the hospital and the Chiefs also extends into the community. Our sports medicine specialists work with Chiefs players and staff to offer sports education for young athletes.

New home for sports medicine care

Chiefs Training Complex logoAs part of the partnership, the Chiefs Training Complex next to Arrowhead Stadium has a new name: The University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex. The facility will be home to a new clinic for the hospital’s Center for Sports Medicine, opening in spring 2013. Here, athletes of all ages – from youth to adults – will receive advanced sports medicine care in a professional setting. Services include diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries, follow-up care and physical therapy.

Major league care for the Royals

Our hospital is proud to be the official medical provider for the Kansas City Royals major league baseball team. The University of Kansas Physicians' sports medicine surgeons provide care for players and staff. Fans receive care from our doctors at all home games. We also work with the Royals to host Health Awareness Days and other events for fans at Kauffman Stadium.

Healthcare for high school athletes

As the official healthcare provider for Unified School District #232, we provide the following services to DeSoto High School and Mill Valley High School:
