Girls' Night In Another Success

February 10, 2016

Kansas City, Kan. — This year's Girls' Night In was another delightful evening full of friends, refreshments and fundraising.

More than 400 guests enjoyed a special presentation from Kansas City's own Gretchen Rubin, New York Times bestselling author of Better Than Before, The Happiness Project and Happier at Home. Local humorists Julie Dunlap, who co-wrote "MotherFreakingHood!" and Sherry Kuehl, who writes the blog Snarky in the Suburbs, also entertained the crowd.

Proceeds from the event benefit programs at theAdelaide C. Ward Women's Heart Health Center and Turning Point: The Center for Hope and Healing. Funds will also be used for a new nurse navigator program that will provide individualized assistance for cardiac patients with complex conditions.

Thank you to this year's honorary chairs Sara Colt and Susan Morris. To read the full text of the evening's entertaining stories, visit girlsnightinkc.com.
