We understand the importance of including family and friends in the healing process. At The University of Kansas Health System, we are committed to doing everything we can to make your visiting experience as easy and pleasant as possible.

Visitor resources

  • If you want to send a delivery, flowers or balloons to a loved one at our main hospital, we encourage you to follow these guidelines.

    All deliveries should be addressed to:

      Patient name
      c/o The University of Kansas Hospital

      Kansas City, KS 66160

  • All mail should be addressed to:

      Patient name
      c/o The University of Kansas Hospital
      4000 Cambridge St.
      Kansas City, KS 66160

    Mail will be forwarded to a patient's home or designated address if it arrives after they have left the hospital.

  • Flowers and plants cannot be delivered to intensive care rooms because of infection-control requirements.

  • Latex balloons are not allowed anywhere in the hospital.
