Corporate Health Services and Programs

Corporate health at The University of Kansas Health System offers a range of services from federally mandated annual physical exams to medical surveillance for asbestos and hazardous materials exposure. The clinics consult on illness outbreaks and coordinate complex workers' compensation injury cases. We also provide safety and health and wellness education programs.

Clinical services

Our occupational medicine clinics provide routine medical services and a continuum of clinical care at several convenient locations. Services include:

  • Post-offer physicals and return-to-work exams
  • Initial evaluation and follow-up management of the injured worker
  • Initial or annual medical fitness examinations for the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration and paramedics
  • Diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for workplace exposure and injuries
  • Assessment and treatment plans for ergonomic problems
  • Clinical toxicology evaluations to determine if illness is due to chemical, biological or physical hazard
  • Treatment plans for workers affected by sick-building syndrome and indoor air-quality problems
  • Independent medical evaluations
  • Specialized electronic medical records with detailed employer and patient communications
