The University of Kansas Health System is the official healthcare provider of the Kansas City Chiefs. We're also the sports medicine and athletic training provider of the Blue Valley, Shawnee Mission, De Soto and Lansing school districts.
These partners came together at our annual Coaches Clinic where we combine high school and middle school coaches with the pros. Football coaches from some of our partner schools were on the sidelines during a Chiefs practice where they discussed athletic training and strength conditioning with professionals from the Chiefs and the Sports Medicine and Performance Center.
Coaches learned new practice ideas, gathered training tips and gained a pro perspective. They they took this knowledge back to their athletes.
