Urgent Care Hours for the Fourth of July

Kansas City, Kan. — In recognition of the Fourth of July, our urgent care clinics will have modified hours all weekend.


  • Friday: 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Sunday: 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

KU MedWest

  • Friday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Sunday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

State Avenue

  • Friday: Closed
  • Saturday: Closed
  • Sunday: Closed

The University of Kansas Hospital

  • Friday: Closed
  • Saturday: Closed
  • Sunday: Closed

This year we are also offering urgent care video visits for residents of Kansas and Missouri from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., all weekend. Before your visit you will need to provide your current medical and insurance information. You will also need to have a MyChart account to have an urgent care video visit. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up for one now.

To request an urgent care video visit – a telehealth visit – you’ll need a computer, tablet or smartphone with audio and video capabilities.
