Kansas City, Kan. – In recognition of the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays, some of The University of Kansas Health System’s offices will have modified hours on Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1.
Christmas and New Year’s holiday hours
Doctor office hours
- All doctor offices will be closed Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1. Our staff will support routine scheduling needs and answer routine MyChart messages when normal business hours resume.
Outpatient imaging
- All outpatient imaging locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1.
Pharmacy hours
- Our retail pharmacy locations on the 39th and Rainbow campus inside Bell Hospital Tower and Cambridge Tower A will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1.
- Our Westwood Campus, Indian Creek Campus and Southlake Business Park locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1.
Urgent care hours
- Some health system urgent care locations will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1. View locations and wait times or consider an urgent care video visit (telehealth).
Walk-in lab hours
- Our walk-in lab locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1.
- Some walk-in labs will close early on Wednesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 31 as shown:
- College Square Medical Pavilion will close at 3 p.m.
- Corbin Park will close at 3 p.m.
- Indian Creek will close at 5 p.m.
- KU MedWest will close at 5 p.m. (normal hours).
- Medical Pavilion at 39th and Rainbow campus will close at 5 p.m.
- Quivira Medical Pavilion A will close at 5 p.m.
- South Kansas City Medical Pavilion will close at 3 p.m.
Walk-in orthopedic care
- Our orthopedic walk-in care office at I-435 and Nall will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24, and will be closed Thursday, December 25. It will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, and will be closed Thursday, January 1.
The University of Kansas Cancer Center
- The University of Kansas Cancer Center will be closed for exam visits Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1, with these exceptions:
- Limited hours for scheduled BMT clinic and treatment at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood
- Limited hours for scheduled treatments at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood
- Radiation oncology sites will be closed Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1, unless emergency treatments are required.

Great Bend, Kansas, locations
- All doctor offices in Great Bend will be closed Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1.
- Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic at St. Rose Medical Pavilion will be closed on Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1.
- No inpatient services will be affected by the holidays.
