Mobile App to Improve Outcomes

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The University of Kansas Health System has partnered with Redivus Health Software to offer a mobile application solution to members of the Kansas Heart and Stroke Collaborative, most of which are located in rural Kansas.

The Redivus mobile app guides physicians, nurses and other care team members through timely diagnosis and treatment of stroke and sepsis.

The Kansas Heart and Stroke Collaborative, a grant-funded initiative of the health system, will use the app to guide many providers in Kansas through diagnosis and treatment of these potentially deadly conditions.

"Our goals are to help physicians and nurses remain focused and confident during time-critical diagnosis and to improve outcomes for patients in rural hospitals," said Bob Moser, MD, executive director of the collaborative.
