Tempting Olive Tapenade


  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives
  • 1/2 cup Sicilian green olives
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon parsley 
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse to combine well. Then allow to process until the mixture is coarsely pureed. Use as a topping for bruschetta or as a dip for fresh vegetables. Or use to stuff mushrooms or deviled eggs.
