Grilled Bananas with Peanut Butter

Ingredients

3 bananas, firm

3/4 cup peanut butter, natural

1/3 cup honey

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

Cut bananas lengthwise, leaving skin on. In a small bowl, stir together peanut butter, honey and cinnamon. Spread 2 Tbsp. of the peanut butter mixture on the cut side of each banana half. Place the banana halves skin side down on a medium hot grill for about 6-7 minutes. If you’d like softer bananas, cook longer. Use a long spatula to carefully transfer bananas from grill to serving dish. NOTE: peanut butter will be hot! Garnish with chopped nuts, toasted coconut, chocolate chips, whipped cream, sprinkles or ice cream.

Yield: 6 halves
