Make Your Own Sports Drink

Sports drinks and energy drinks can be expensive and full of sugar. But you can easily make your own, healthier version. Here's the recipe:

  • 4 c. water
  • ¼-½ tsp. sea salt
  • Juice from 1 orange
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 7-10 drops liquid Stevia or 2-3 tsp. honey
  • Pinch of baking soda (optional)

Combine ingredients in a 1-quart mason jar and shake well. If you drink after a workout, shake again before drinking.
