KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Staff, visitors and patients will soon enjoy a more comfortable entrance to the Center for Advanced Heart Care.
At 5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, workers will begin installing remote-control screens to the large bank of east-facing windows near the information desk. The work will continue during the day Thursday, Friday and perhaps Monday, Sept. 18.
Because the work will involve a lift, the area will be cordoned off and a spotter will be on site to ensure safety.
The new shades will allow staff to control glare and heat, making the area more inviting for everyone.
