Kansas City, Kan. – In recognition of the upcoming Labor Day holiday, some of The University of Kansas Health System’s offices will have modified hours on Monday, September 1, 2025.
Labor Day holiday hours
Doctor office hours
- All doctor offices will be closed Monday, September 1. Our staff will support routine scheduling needs and answer routine MyChart messages when normal business hours resume.
Outpatient imaging
- All outpatient imaging locations will be closed Monday, September 1.
Pharmacy hours
- Our retail pharmacy locations inside Bell Hospital Tower and Cambridge Tower A (on the 39th and Rainbow campus) will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, September 1.
- Our Westwood Campus, Indian Creek Campus and Southlake locations will be closed Monday, September 1.
Urgent care hours
- Several urgent care locations will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, September 1. View locations, hours and wait times.
- Several urgent care locations will be closed Monday, September 1, including urgent care at:
- Arbor Creek Medical Pavilion (formerly Olathe Health Urgent Care – Arbor Creek)
- Blackfoot Medical Pavilion (formerly Olathe Health Urgent Care – Blackfoot)
- College Point Medical Pavilion (formerly Olathe Health Urgent Care – College Point)
- Gardner Edgerton Medical Pavilion (formerly Olathe Health Urgent Care – Gardner Edgerton)
- Kansas Drive Medical Pavilion (formerly Olathe Health Urgent Care – Paola)
- You may also consider an Urgent Care Video Visit, which you can set up from the main menu in MyChart.
Walk-in lab hours
- Our walk-in lab locations will be closed Monday, September 1.
Walk-in orthopedic clinic
- Our orthopedic walk-in care office at I-435 and Nall on Indian Creek Campus will be closed Monday, September 1.
- Our orthopedic walk-in care office at Quivira Medical Pavilion A at the northwest corner of Quivira Road and 151st Street in Olathe, Kan., will be closed Monday, September 1.
The University of Kansas Cancer Center
- The University of Kansas Cancer Center will be closed for exam visits Monday, September 1, with these exceptions:
- Limited hours for scheduled BMT clinic and treatment at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood.
- Limited hours for scheduled medical oncology treatments at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood.
- Radiation oncology sites will be closed Monday, September 1, unless emergency treatments are required.

Great Bend, Kansas, locations
- All doctor offices in Great Bend will be closed Monday, September 1.
- Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic at St. Rose Medical Pavilion will be open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, September 1.
- No inpatient services will be affected by the holidays.
