Why I Chose The University of Kansas Health System: I was drawn to The University of Kansas Health System because of its collaborative teaching environment and the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable and encouraging preceptors. I was also excited by the variety of unique learning experiences, including academia and poison control. My APPE rotations as a pharmacy student at the health system further inspired me to pursue residency and specialize in psychiatry.
