See Your Records on MyChart

Wondering about your latest lab test results or your list of prescriptions? You can find this information and more on MyChart.

MyChart is a mobile app and online portal into your health records. It shows:

  • Current health issues
  • Medications
  • Allergies
  • Immunizations
  • Plan of care
  • Visit summaries
  • Upcoming visits, tests and procedures

You can also use MyChart to communicate with your care team, send follow-up questions and ask about prescriptions.

Some records don't show

Certain medical records are sensitive or can't be displayed on MyChart for technical reason. For example:

  • Radiology images
  • Certain obstetric ultrasound reports
  • Genetic testing results

You can find instructions for accessing these records here.

How to share your records with other providers

If you are visiting a provider outside of the health system, you have several choices for sharing your electronic records.

  • If the provider uses the Epic electronic medical record system, you can ask them to access your record directly.

  • If the provider doesn't use Epic, you can download a portable copy of your record from MyChart. Visit the "Health" tab. Under "Medical Tools," choose "Download my Record." You will see options for downloading information, which you can print or send to the provider.

You can also ask your provider to access your records via a local Health Information Exchange, such as the Lewis and Clark Information Exchange, which covers many large providers in the region.

  • If you need more detail on topics like surgeries and hospitalizations, visit Medical Records for instructions. Your provider can release more detailed records through MyChart or your can ask them to fax your records to the provider.
