Why I Give

"When my son was a patient on Unit 3G, everyone was so warm, helpful and compassionate – a contrast to the cold, plain surroundings. I knew that staying here was often an important step for patients and families in their journey toward healing, and I felt compelled to help create a more therapeutic environment with color and art. I talked with staff about ways to give, and Project CALM (Calming Artwork by Lance and Mom) was born."

"Having been involved with the heart program for many years, we have seen so many advances in care and truly leading-edge treatment close to home. As we’re growing a bit older, we feel it's time to give to the future of this program that is so near and dear to our hearts. This gift is more than an investment. It reflects our commitment to helping this wonderful program grow in new and promising directions."

"When my husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, we were no strangers to the hospital, having each worked here more than 30 years. Being on the other side of care, we experienced firsthand such compassion, warmth and dedication from everyone we encountered. After Dean passed away, I wanted to honor him and recognize the incredible team of care providers who truly invest their hearts into their patients every day."
