U.S. News & World Report evaluated thousands of hospitals to produce its respected report of the nation's best. In 2023-24, The University of Kansas Hospital ranked among the top 50 programs in these 8 adult medical and surgical specialties:

• Cardiology and Heart Surgery (tied at No. 49)
• Ear, Nose and Throat (No. 34)
• Geriatrics (tied at No. 34)
