Pedestrian Bridge Construction

April 29, 2016

Kansas City, Kan. — As part of the hospital's Cambridge North Tower project, a two-story pedestrian bridge is under construction to link the new tower to the Center for Advanced Heart Care.

The unique bridge is 225 feet long and provides both a private and public floor. Designed with patient privacy in mind, one floor will be dedicated solely to clinical staff and patient transport, while the other floor will be open to visitors and other hospital traffic.

Due to the construction, southbound traffic entering Cambridge Dr. from 39th Street will be reduced to one lane. This lane will shift and will be marked by cones. Ensure you pay attention to all signage and flagmen.
